William Johnson, MD, FCCP
Dr. Johnson grew up in
Alma, Nebraska, graduating first from Doane College and then from the
University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his Internal
Medicine Residency at UNMC, and a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical
Care Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa
City, Iowa. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary
Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, and is Certified by the American Board
of Sleep Disorders.
Among his many professional
honors, he has received the Young Alumnus Award from Doane College, and the
Family Practice
Residency Volunteer Teacher Award from the Lincoln Medical Education
Foundation. He is a member of the American College of Physicians,
American Medical Association, American Thoracic Society, American
College of Chest Physicians, Society of Critical Care Medicine,
American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Nebraska Medical Association, and
the Lancaster Medical Society.
At the present time he
serves as director of the Sleep Laboratory, BryanLGH Hospital,
Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic, BryanLGH Hospital, ICU and Intensivist program,
BryanLGH Hospital, and ICU and Intensivist program, Saint Elizabeth
Regional Medical Center.
He has published
several articles and is welcomed as a speaker throughout the country.
