John F. Trapp, MD,
FCCP
Dr.Trapp
was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and is a graduate of Creighton
University.
He received his Doctorate of Medicine
from the St. Louis University of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri in
1991. Dr.
Trapp completed his residency training and fellowship at the University
of Iowa in 1997. He worked in South Dakota before moving to Nebraska in
1999 when he joined Nebraska Pulmonary Specialties, LLC.
He is
Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care
Medicine, and is Certified by the American Board of Sleep Disorders. He
is also a Fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians.
At the present time he
serves as faculty physician for Family Practice Center and the University of
Nebraska College of Medicine, and as a clinical instructor for the Physician
Assistant program at Union College and the Respiratory Therapy program at
Southeast Community College.
He has published a number
of articles in the field of Pulmonary Medicine.
